Founder's words

As the founder of this association, my name is Amanda Fok. I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

after the age of 30, after years of struggling with depression. Finding appropriate ADHD treatment allowed me to manage my condition successfully.

Through my personal experience, I realized that Hong Kong lacks knowledge and adequate support for ADHD, especially for adults with ADHD. This population is often overlooked and ignored by society. As a result, I decided to establish this association to raise awareness among different sectors of society, including the government, and improve the well-being of those with ADHD.

I understand the struggles and challenges of ADHD, and I am deeply passionate about supporting and connecting with the ADHD community in Hong Kong. I hope this association can serve as a platform for individuals with ADHD to find the resources and support they need to thrive.
